HEAD COACH

Kanishk kapoor

Kanishk Kapoor has been playing soccer competitively for over 12 years and has coached soccer camps for FYSC since his freshman year of high school. Through coaching and creating training regimens for himself, Kanishk knows how to create a training environment that is both enriching and engaging for players.

He is currently a starting midfielder for UC Davis Club Soccer and has previously played for FYSC’s senior team and Mission San Jose’s Varsity team all four years of high school, winning the team MVP award two years in a row.

His dedication for the sport is undeniable and to watch him play is always a joy. His technique and physicality is what makes him stand out, and I know many others who’d agree."

LEAD TACTICAL COACH

Vaishak Sandeep

Vaishak Sandeep is currently 16 years old and has been playing soccer for 7 years. He started playing competitive soccer in 8th grade for Fremont Youth Soccer Club and he currently plays for the Sporting Clara 05 team.

Vaishak has been part of the MSJ Varsity Soccer team for 3 years and is the starting center defensive midfielder for MSJ. He is a versatile player who is capable of playing on the wing in addition to the midfield.

In his free time, Vaishak enjoys analyzing games from the top European clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Barcelona. He loves dissecting plays, analyzing player movements, and understanding each team’s tactical approach to games.

DEFENSIVE COACH

ARNAV ARORA

Arnav Arora is a rising senior who has almost 10 years of soccer experience under his belt. He was selected to be on the MSJ Soccer Varsity team all 4 years of high school and starts every game as MSJ’s #1 defender. I was on varsity all 4 years for high school. He currently plays for the FYSC Senior Team and has coached extensively for FYSC before as well.

With Arnav’s strong presence in the backline, MSJ Varsity Soccer went from a 2 win and 13 loss season to a 10 win and only 5 loss season. Arnav capped off a phenomenal season by leading Mission’s defense in MSJ’s 1st NCS appearance in 10+ years.

JOEL KIM

Joel Kim is a rising star for MSJ Varsity Soccer. Voted “Most Improved Player” by his peers due to his consistent hard work, training endlessly day in and day out.

Joel embodies the Fremont United mindset – hard work, mental toughness, and belief. After his successful tenure as the head coach of Warriors Training, Joel will bring coaching experience and determination to the Fremont United.

"I remember seeing Joel always being the first one to arrive at Mission's training and the last one to leave the field. His consistent hard work has wowed not only me but also his teammates and coaches."

ANUSH HARISH

Anush Harish has been the lead starting striker for both the MSJ Varsity Soccer team and the MHHS Varsity Soccer team. Equipped with 7+ years of competitive experience and 2+ years of coaching experience, Anush is determined to pass on the baton to the next generation of soccer athletes.

He will share key takeaways from his successful soccer journey and not only teach but also guide his students to achieve their full potentials.

"Anush has been the single most influential figure in my soccer career. I remember when I was just starting and didn't know anything about soccer, Anush would stay back after every Mission practice to teach me how to properly shoot, pass, and other techniques. I will be forever thankful to Anush for the amount of time and effort he spent teaching and coaching me. He will make a great Fremont United Coach."
