Fremont United strives to coach its players in the styles of groundbreaking coaches such as Johan Cruyff and Pep Guardiola, instilling a proficiency in both technique and tactical understanding. We have created a curriculum that teaches the ways of the modern game that ensures they understand essential concepts such as positional play and tiki taka. In addition, every session includes drills that improve skills such as dribbling, passing, touch, and agility to nurture players that have the technical and physical capability to thrive in contemporary systems of play.
We truly believe that to become an elite soccer player, you must train your mind as much as your body.
Our players will have an astute understanding of space that will allow them to play in between lines of defenders to create space for themselves and teammates. They will learn to recognize patterns in play, such as an overlapping fullback, in order to create dynamic, free flowing attacks. They will also work on their agility and explosiveness through learning modern ways of pressing that apply constant pressure to the opposition and create compactness in the middle of the field. These are just a few of the many key concepts our players will gain an understanding of through our programs that will give them the skills to excel in all aspects of modern soccer.
